Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing in which the practitioner guides the gentle flow of energy throughout the body using slow hand movements to facilitate a healing process. The practitioner channels some of their own energy from their palms to the patient and by doing so, the body can be brought back to a state of equilibrium and tranquility.
